Thanks this is so informative, I have the 2020 model that’s two months old and has a panel beater friend tell me it’s almost flawless, except there is a gap that’s bigger on the drivers side door when you compare to passenger door, it’s hardly noticeable, so not worried. Hopefully their QC is much better now.

Look at the shoulder line @0:41 before and @5:33 after Its off but 1/8+ inch. You door alignment is off slightly and you can see it even after you made you DIY adjustment. So I suppose if you want a "quick fix" you could do this however it looks like a ducktape job.

In all seriousness a piece of dry spaghetti would be perfect

This was really helpful? How has it held up over the past 6 months?

you have done it wrong. the door is misaligned when closed. you can adjust it by moving the door striker hook slightly. (tilt it for height and in/out for depth of door closure. 10 min job. This is basically a botch.

So this is tuning in the Tesla world. Gotta keep those fanboys busy somehow I guess. Tools needed: fingernails, plastic pry tools, and a towel. Lolol
