My friend has this. YES IT DOES WORK. We made sparkling lemonade by adding lemon juice to it.

Just so you know, that loud buzzing sound was supposed to be heard three times, you had like ten buzzes because of how many times you pushed the button. Too much carbonation can cause it to take funny. Also, you were just supposed to kind of slosh the soda around a few times, not shake it because it will overflow. And pouring the liquid into the carbonated water too quickly can cause it to overflow as well.
I love my Sodastream and I hope that helped some!

When she started shaking the bottle at 10:25 I started cringing. You are NOT meant to shake it, only tilt it slowly until it's mixed!

1.add a ton of carbonation
2.not tilt the bottle when adding the syrup
3.shaking the bottle taking 100% of the carbonation
4.going crazy

Bunny, I think you did great. Some people are criticizing you for not following directions EXACTLY, but really, who cares? In my opinion, directions are open to interpretation and you just made the video all the more wonderful to watch exactly the way you did it! Love you!
