in the example provided, would you be able to meander the 3 unit river instead of the 2 unit one to fill up the space without creating another flap? 16:26

About the ballpark gridsize formula, since its (sum of tree lengths * 2) / 4, isn't it easier to say is is just (sum of tree lengths)/2?

If the sum of the tree lengths equals x, isn't 2x/4 the same thing as just x/2? Oops, didn't watch long enough.
