Our adopted at a shelter dog, Pepper, passed away in September 2022. In January 2023 I was near the shelter with time to spare, so I pulled in to see what might be in the kennels. After looking at a lot of dogs, and not being emotionally triggered I got to the final row of kennels. it turned out, there was only one dog in that row. The information card on the kennel door had her name on it. PEPPER ! ‘nuff said !
