I hope this helps one or some of you. I started breaking out in hives all over my body in random places. At first I thought it was an allergic reaction to a food I ate. I kept a paper trail of what I ate and when it flared up. I got it from my toes, ankles, thighs, back, stomach, bra line, armpits, arms and neck. I went to the Dr and they prescribed amoxicillin. It still didn't go away this was now in week 2. I went back into the Dr and this time she saw hives only by my bra line, armpits and by my underwear line. This told her that it was an allergic reaction to my laundry detergent. For anybody that is curious I was temporarily using the Xtra brand laundry detergent. I have always used tide but when a man goes to the store and you ask for a specific product well they don't always bring the exact product you want. 😂. I am now in week 3 of hives and I am slowly but surely recovering. I have rewashed all my clothes in tide my go to laundry detergent.

Good luck with finding what makes you flare up with hives. Make sure to have Benadryl on hand even if you think you don't need it, it's better to be safe than sorry. 💕

I never had a history of allergies. I started having it just recently when I eat poultry products or seafoods.

After two years on strong antihistamines I have substituted those for Vitamin D supplements (2200 IU) - after reading an academic article suggesting Vitamin D might just support other treatments. I live at 56deg north of the Equator, and even plain old sunshine was enough for me on holidays...

I know what you're going through. It's very uncomfortable. Did you get any allergy tests? I had hives for almost 2 years and I found that was allergic to a lot of things. hope this helps.

Last night we drink 6% alcohol, at 2:30 am my back was so itchy i thought it's just only bed bugs but this prove me wrong when until now I still have hives from arms to legs. No more alcohol buddy. I only take 25mg of benadryl but its still itchy

I have a weird story

2 years ago i played a whole football game (7th grade) I got hives suddenly after not getting a break the whole game besides halftime, went to the ER took so pills and I was all good, they gave me an EPI-Pen that I’ve never needed to use

But today randomly I got a minor hive-like thing in my wrist, I didn’t feel pain and it went away, but I noticed when I did things like lifting a jug of water the tiny bumps would come back didn’t have any problems since then any idea on what it was

Sunflower seed and pumpkin seed can cause the allergy. Sesame, poppy, pumpkin or mustard seeds are the most common cause of hives. In my case it was pumpkin seeds.
