Mexicans aren't even coming to the US anymore. It's mainly people from Venezuela, Colombia, and Peru.

Hello Pat, I'm a Mexican engineer. I've worked in the American automotive industry established in Mexico. Two points I'd like to share. First, American executives in Detroit don't care who assembles their cars; what matters is profit. Those lost jobs in the US industry will never return. Their workforce is overvalued and very expensive. They need to adapt, find other jobs, and stop complaining about Mexico 'stealing their jobs.' Second, China is doing what the United States has done with its capitalist system all along. It's just that now Americans don't like it. American double standards always come back to bite them.

I’m glad so many people are calling PBD on his hypocrisy. He likes to flaunt that he is a “pure” capatalist 😂

Hi Pat, I'm a Mexican marketer working for a company in New York, but I live in Brazil. I see we're expanding and launching initiatives in Spanish to capture the Hispanic market. The treaty, known as TMEC, was renegotiated by Trump, who argued that the U.S. needed a better deal. Ultimately, this treaty turned out to be highly beneficial for Mexico. Additionally, there's a concept called nearshoring. It's not just companies from China relocating to Mexico; firms from all over the world are doing so. Therefore, I'd say using the word 'stealing' is not accurate.

Have you ever been in Mexico? Have you seen all the american businesses that exist in Mexico and ate the Mexican companies? Walmart, Home Depot, Mc Donalds, Apple, Amazon, Coke, Pepsi, etc, etc, etc. Where do you think all the profits of those companies go to and who benefits from them? USA and Americans. So, that is what is called free trade and world trade. Stop whining when in the end USA most benefits from all.

It's called free market. Mexicans are just using it! I dont see anything wrong with that! That's why Mexico is growing/developing. Is better/safer to have a rich neighbor than a poor one. And by the way most Chinese companies grew in with American the chinese export and manufacturing market was developed by the US in the 80's and 90's and the main consumer is US! so maybe you should not get upset for you Nikes/IPhones/Laptop made in China and Mexico!

I thought American is purely capitalist. What is wrong with someone figuring out how to do business and get away with profits. Does it only hold when America is taking the money but not any other country ??

China is investing in mexico and some south america countries meanwhile US is Investing in wars that it has no business doing in also increasing minimum wage in fast food now imagine the strike in car manufacturing how much are they going to want? 100 per hour? Even with tariffs it would be cheaper for us the consumer if they would be done in mexico or china

In other words, Chinese car manufacturers are doing what American companies have been doing for decades.

China investment in Mexico is one of the reasons Mexicans will stay in Mexico instead of illegally migrating to the US. American must thank China for reducing immigration.

Actually not only investment in Mexico but the whole Latin America.

capitalism is good until someone is better at it than us

1. Tariffs are anti capitalist.
2. Denying anyone taking advantage of the most efficient business routes to ensure maximum profit is anti capitalist.

Completely ignored in this video, but it is interesting to note: NAFTA is no longer in effect! This has been replaced by the United States-Mexico- Canada Agreement (USMCA), signed in 2020 says that 75% of the parts used must have Mexico/US/Canada parts. Otherwise, the tariff exemption does not apply. This, of course, then is assuming china and mexico are honest about where the supply comes from. Additionally, props to Mexico for now implementing their own tariffs: 5 - 25% on 90% of imports from China specifically.

I do value Valuetainment, but this video seemed like bait lacking fundamental details that are now relevant.

I don't see the problem. How bout we fix the problems we have here Instead of blaming other countries for our shortcomings

isn’t capitalism what you preach? And No! Trump won’t stop this. As a matter of fact the relationship between Trump and the Mexican president AMLO are really good.

It is concerning to hear about individuals like Patrick Bet-David spreading anti-Mexican propaganda and perpetuating negative stereotypes. Division within the Mexican community and among other races only serves to further marginalize and disenfranchise already vulnerable populations. Economic finger-pointing and elitism do not address the root causes of issues but rather exacerbate societal divides.

Oooo Poor America losing at its own game.

Why would Mexico have to do anything about it, the US wouldn't care if the roles were inverted. It's business.
