Padme being the youngest queen of Naboo (and seator) sure seems like a dark side adherent who craves power.
She's also a capable combatant and very deceptive. All dark side oriented traits.
Maybe this isn't a whatif, and is just subplot.

I loved this story…..right up to when Padme killed Anakin. Padme was so attracted to him, she overlooked he slaughtered women & children.

What if Padme became a Force Vampire at the end of Revenge of the Sith. As Anakin and Padme were both struggling to live, Anakin was being kept alive by Palpatine, and Anakin was keeping Padme. Anakin accidently partially essence transfers some of his force sensitivity to Padme as she was giving birth to Luke and Leia. Obi wan and Yoda both pick up on the change in Padme. After giving birth Padme is placed in a suit to help her recover her strength and she sits down with Obi wan and Yoda to discuss their situation. It is reluctantly agreed that she be separated from the children, but because of the pain, and suffering, Yoda and Obi wan do not want to train Padme instead instruct Padme how to access the Jedi archives and restricted sections of the Jedi Temple to teach herself. Padme made Yoda and Obi wan promise to look after her children before leaving. Being Palpatine had no use of the archives but didn't want them destroyed just in case he wanted to use them himself, Padme, Yoda, & Obi wan agree that the risk of going to the Jedi archives was minimal, her suit made her look like one of the inquisitors and Padme quickly learns Force Drain, and everything she needs to grow in the ways of the force. Strangely she favors the Dark side training, but doesn't allow hatred for the Jedi to overtake her. Favoring Force Drain, Padme becomes stronger with the force with each victim she encounters, draining all their force essence, hoping to one day confront Sidious and Darth Vader. While Padme could have left her suit, she felt more comfortable wearing it as it effectively allowed her free movement around Coruscant, the Jedi archives would become Padme's home as Palpatine and Vader dismissed Padme's presence as a force ghost or echo trapped within the walls of the Jedi temple.

I can totally see a blend of Legends and Canon for the future of the Skywalker Dynasty. Leia meeting a scruffy smuggler with a Wookie copilot, and having Ben (though he wouldn't be named that). Luke meeting Mara Jade, who *is* trying to kill him because she would also be Palpatine's secret Hand, but he'd undo his brainwashing, and they'd have *that* "Ben". Meanwhile, Palpatine's "Muggle" clone would meet his wife and they'd have Rey.

This story is essentially a “what if Padme was a Sith Lord”, but only difference being she’s not force sensitive. Still I loved it. Keep up the great stories.
Day 65 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
