In today’s video, we’re diving into the latest GitHub Copilot updates announced at their recent conference. GitHub has introduced some major features, including multi-file editing and the ability to choose from multiple AI models. But if these sound familiar, it’s because Cursor, another popular AI coding tool, has been pioneering these very features for a while now.

We’ll discuss how GitHub Copilot’s new updates stack up against Cursor’s Composer feature, which has set the bar for multi-file editing, model selection, and in-context code adjustments. Are these GitHub updates truly groundbreaking, or are they just playing catch-up to Cursor?

Join me as we look at where GitHub Copilot shines, where it falls short, and what this competition means for the future of AI-assisted coding. Whether you’re a fan of GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or just curious about the latest in AI coding tools, this is a video you won’t want to miss.

Agree it seems like Copilot is playing copycat with Cursor but it's great when you're bound to Copilot at work and really wanted to use the other features.

I'm using continue plug-in for more than a year, and cursor and copilot seems to be copying it's ideas

Great comparison. Highly recommended for the Github Copilot's development team🤣🤣. Hey youtube, please make sure it reaches to them. 😅

Excellent overview. Quick question about pricing (cost). Which is more affordable and who has the most limits on the AI usage? I'd love to understand that a bit more.

I prefer GitHub Copilot because it's less expensive. It only costs $100 per year.

copilot is twice cheaper :) 10$ vs 20$ - if now has the the same features as Cursor a switch is no brainer for me :)
