After watching other videos, soaking my bags, I appreciate you addressing the biggest missing piece from other videos which is do I let it air out before applying it.

Sadly one of my bags I mixed with place and which may have been too wet and clumped up in my earthway spreader when I tried to spread it out. Watching your video makes me think I still have the ability to save that bag and laid out on a tarp for a little bit to dry out before trying again and not wasting it.

My KBG germinated in 4 days usjng thus method. 1 week later grass is growing and 10-14 days my backyard is fully grown. Wow

Really good video, thanks. Doing some research and as I understand it, there are several closely related methods to speed up germination: pre-germination sounds like the full on multi-day soaking exercise that most videos discuss, and this video seems like it aligns more with "priming" the seed. Sounds like both are perfectly viable options, as is somewhere in between.

Was watching and recognized the logo on the front of your hat, then saw the killington! I just used your method up in burlington. I just laid down the seed yesterday, unfortunately they were a bit late in thier germination so hopefully I didnt get them down too late. Will see how it goes!

Hello, hope you and your family is doing well. I tried your pre-germination method using Turf Type Tall Fescue and KBG blend. I started the process on Wednesday @6pm and then followed your method of pre-germinating. After the 4th day (Sunday 29 Sep) I mixed my seed with Milorganite and then put down on my lawn. I set my irrigation system to water 5 mins per zone 3 times per day. With the weather helping me out due to Hurricane Helen remnants. On Tuesday/Wednesday (Oct 1/2) noticed baby grass growing in my entire lawn. So your method actually worked and I just want to thank you so much for your insight and help. Respectfully, Tim

I just soaked mine for 3 days, changed water every 12hrs the mixed with milogranite and spread. Hoping for good results.

Here's my question, if the seed is germinated and little sprouts are coming out, are you not doing them any harm when you start to spread the out and mix them up?
