Great video! Very much needed for understanding why things happen. Being an old man who is not a pro fisherman only for fun, I would never make a run across the lake and beat myself up. I put in at the closes ram where I want to fish. Be safe and have fun. Thanks.

Thanks again...I have watched the first map tour video several times...can never be safe enough. Tightlines!

Very interesting, I love these videos regarding navigation as much as your awesome fish catch videos, thank you for both. I think it's a product of too many boats (people) in Florida that don't respect the nature difference's of given lakes, the difference's are huge from lake to lake. You HAVE to educate yourself on any body of water that you plan to navigate.

I love your videos. Not sure if I agree with ya on this one. If you have a jackplate, trim tabs and trim on your motor you surely (especially in your boat) can come off pad in a foot and a half of water and not damage props etc. sounds more like people don’t want the hassle of doing the right thing. Coming off plane to idle by or for that matter get out of the running lanes when they see a heavy footed boat driver coming. That’s obviously my opinion but won’t make me stop watching your good vids. 👊🏼👊🏼

A boat trail is NOT a marked navigation lane. So it is their right too fish there as much as you running there.

This video was great. I’m coming down next week and I’m still nervous anywhere on the lake. My visits aren’t long enough to have my rig laid up in a shop, so I’ll probably be trolling everywhere. Thanks for the info.

Thank you so much for telling those people to get out of the boat trails.
It's a pain in the ass to slow and I run Way North on the the of clewiston.
Hate when you see them right in the middle of the boat trails I fly right by The same at
Thanks for telling them that I am a recreational fisherman try to get out there every Saturday and you start to see how's our there every weekend.
The greenhorns are out there so fly by

On the south end of the lake, I forget which cut into the rim canal it was but there was a big boulder right in the cut. I had run through there so many times with no problems but one day I fished my way out and saw it. I was thinking how lucky I was to never set down there going into or out of lake. The Big O can be quite treacherous especially when it’s low.

Great job. Is the safest way around traveling the rim.

This is good to know I have a new Bass boat and get mad whenever someone is fishing in boat lane and I slow down and then have to get back on plan. No more slowing down. Thank for the information.

Awesome video. Where would you suggest to launch with a fishing kayak? Thanks.

I was thinking about coming down for the month of June . My boat will get up in 2’ feet of water would I have any trouble getting around, I also have hydraulic plate so I can jack it up.

Common sense is hard to come by these days...a lot of times...coming off of plane makes more wake than going by fast on plane.
