Growing up in the south, we used to catch a lot of fish from the rivers around here. Brim/Bluegills are the ones I remember the most. One of the best ways I remember eating them too was whole frying and the head was one of the best parts!!! This look so delicious. ❤

I used to not want to eat fish eyes because it looked gross. But when I heard my younger sister loved it, even when she's super picky, I decided to try it.

Turns out, it is super delicious! I was absolutely blown away by the many years of not eating it growing up... 😳
Hence everytime I get to eat fish, I would always go for the fish eyes! So tasty and definitely a must if you haven't!

In case you're wondering what it tastes like: I would say it's like when you're eating pork belly or pork adobo with rice! It tastes so sinful and delicious... 😳❤️

The eyes are very nutritious.
A guy was stranded out at sea in a dinky boat.
He was starving.
So when he caught a fish, he said he didn't want the flesh. He said he craved the eyes.
Turns out, the eyeballs were like multivitamins.
It's what kept him alive until he was rescued.
I'd eat them, too, if I was hungry enough.

Out of curiosity how do you avoid the bones when eating, do you have a technique or is it cut a certain way or do you eat them? Sorry if this seemed rude, I love fish but I don't know how to deal with the bones
