Can we make a movie about Chicago Blues and it’s impact on society and the community. I would be so down for this.

You missed the fact that Muddy also Paid all of his musicians, and unionized them. A big Big man, Muddy was.

All "american music" came from the blues..every bit of it...every fan of any music should watch this. IT is so cool that high schoolers made this...great job!

It ain’t no exaggeration to say that Muddy Waters was the shit! He and his band had groove and swagger like no other during his time.

In this documentary it says that Muddy Waters was born in 1915, but according to Wikipedia he was born in 1913.

this is great but why do they have to keep rehashing all the old stories and shit that we already know there's so much more to be told

Obligatory Willie Dixon comment reminding history of his contributions from playing bass and writing for many other prominent bluesmen of the day.

Alan Lomax…very much a Texan, not a ‘northerner’.

An Austinite to boot!

Could they pack more misinformation into this short? Let’s start with the mispronunciation of Big Bill Broonzy’s name and calling Willie Dixon a member of Muddy’s Band. Ouch.

When did the Blues ever "rule the music industry in America"? Lotta hyperbole goin' on. And, not to take anything away from Muddy, but there would have been a vibrant, kick-ass Blues scene in Chicago with or without him.
