Windows 10 October 2020 Update – Official Release Demo (Version 20H2)

Windows 10 version 20H2 is just around the corner, and features a number of notable changes and enhancements over the Windows 10 May 2020 Update released earlier this year. Let's go hands-on! This update should begin rolling out in the coming weeks.

Microsoft has not yet announced a release date for this version of Windows 10, but we expect it will be within the next few weeks. :)

Action center needs to be more powerful like display current music playing from services like Spotify. Show all current downloads from any browsers. We need the programs to talk to the OS. We need widgets back as well.

It’s crazy how Apple are coming out with a full redesign in one update.

Microsoft has been fiddling with small minor things for years and still made very little progress in making everything look cohesive.

Almost all of the UI changes though looks cool, they can be done by a 3 member team within a month. Don't know why MS takes soo long to make these subtle changes. They're still upgrading their OS to new fluid UI for almost 5 years now, while mac and android have released 5-6 OS es with entirely new UI...
I think MS has about 2 or maybe 3 interns working on their UI. Cost saving I believe...

It seems like Microsoft think that Windows has achieved peak performance. It has not, it looks like an amateur fork of a full OS with half-baked ideas. Here's a bunch of stuff you can work on your next update you $1.5T worth dolts
1) Color Management
2)Better HDR Support
3) Hi-DPI fix
4)Complete Windows Store Redesign (Like Xbox Store)
5)App UI cluster f**k
6)Full Control Panel & Settings Merge
7)Settings should be multi-instance (it will never be the place to change settings until this happens)
8)Pay top 1000 iOS & Android app developers to release apps on Windows Store (if you can spend $7.5 billion on a game studio and talk about spending upwards of $30 billion for Chinese World Cancer (TikTok), you can spend couple hundred million to ask top developers for development)
9) Fix Task View (what on God's green earth is it even?)

Inside the file explorer folders are vertical, in the start menu they became horizontal. Microsoft has a lot of problems with harmonized style and design. :)

wth, so they worked on alt tab, but only added one feature and it's useless for anyone who uses more than 10 tabs?

How about giving us the ability to set permanent locations for the tiles in alt tab?

eg: alt tab between most recent browser tabs and show them at the top of the screen in a long row, above the unsorted tiles below?

Or pin apps to a specific spot on the window in the alt tab menu? eg: Allow you to put the task manager in the corner instead of putting it together with every other app?

How about letting us remap the winkey so that holding it brings up the alt tab menu? Could free up the alt tab shotcut to use for tab navigation..

Such an “advanced” OS couldn’t figure out how to make desktop icon font Colors something except for WHITE practically making any light wallpaper ugly as hell. Ridiculous!!
