5 Easy Planner Deco Hacks with Tombow Markers

In today's video I am sharing 5 Easy Planner Deco Hacks you can use in your planner with Tombow Markers. As my OG followers know, I am more of a functional planner, and I don't do much pretty planning. I use very few stickers and never touch washi tape, but I do still like my planner spreads to get a little color and deco to help keep them interesting, to highlight any key information and to create hierarchy on my spread when necessary. So, I have a few functional decor tricks for using a marker in your planner.

Yes love this! I highlight appointments and my most important tasks.
I love neutral colors and recently bought the crayola multicultural collection. The markers are less forgiving to use than the tombow though.

I've used "standard" highlighters, but didn't really care for the bright colors. I started using the Tombow's after seeing you use them in another video. Love the subtle, muted colors. Bright enough to stand out, but not jump out! And - even the darker colors are transparent and don't bleed through! I track the moon phases and use N95 - Cool Gray 1. It's a beautiful silvery gray!

Lovely! Nice way to do this. I’ll be able to throw these down with my mild liners at some point.

I use the mild liners and color coding to do something similar with the “pay bill” stickers. Two swipes and it’s enough space to put the bill I need to pay, the amount, and a spot to mark off when it’s paid.

They are all useful! I often get caught up with the washi/sticker trend that I forget there’s an easier and faster way to make planner spreads pretty. Another technique I use is that I stick to one color highlighter/ marker per month just to have uniformity.

Stickers don't work for me. I just doodle an icon inspired from my list of emojs from my phone. Like ☊for reading. (I think it kinda looks like glasses) and hightlight it when I compleated it.
