I think every music platform has its benefits. I know plenty of people who use YouTube music because they listen to super niche artists that aren’t on Spotify. Or prefer a remix of a song that’s not on Spotify or Apple Music. I think that if you use an iPhone as your daily phone and you don’t really use anything else that’s not in the ecosystem Apple Music is good. It works great when trying to swap music between different Apple devices. And my opinion for my use case is the best because I’m jumping from phone to computer to consul to my VR headset to my TV. I am all over the place with it and it works for what I need. I think every platform has its benefits and we just need to accept that.

YouTube Music is so much better since if you get premium then even regular YouTube will have no ads. Not to mention it has by far the biggest library of songs of any site on the entire internet.

Switched from Spotify to YouTube music when the premium free trial ended, and I’m never going back. Not being able to listen to a specific song without it playing a radio of similar songs (and limited skips) was the breaking point.

Spotify on phone is kinda confusing tbh because when I press an album, it doesn’t show me the list of the songs.. for some reason.

If you already have Apple Music just keep it because Apple Music has all of those features except for the personalized playlist but they still pull up songs you may like quite a bit

It started with the device availability. I have been loyal to spotify when i was using my android and windows but even now after i switch to iphone i just use spotify because all my playlist are there.

Here’s the right answer. I use both and to be honest, Spotify is better. That is only true, however, if you have premium. Normal Spotify you have to watch an ad almost every song, and you have limited skips. YouTube music lets you have unlimited skips, and far less ads. Though if you have premium on both, Spotify easily wins. If you’re free on both, YouTube easily wins. So if you are getting premium, get Spotify. However, if you like more obscure stuff (music from games, shows, etc) you may not be able to find that on Spotify. So it just depends on you, what you like, what you use, and how much you use it.
