Bluetooth actually can support lossless audio under very specific circumstances. LDAC and aptX Lossless can both do lossless audio at 16-bit/44.1kHz. The iPhone doesn't support either of those though.

They would all sound better if you did the thug shake

and i’ve always said that.

the app doesn’t matter nearly as much as your headphones. even good headphones on Spotify make a world of difference

What sounds the best is the sweet sweet sound of you hitting the Thug Shake 😭🙏

there is still a massive difference when using lossless audio on bluetooth stuff. it’s not gonna be as much as wired headphones, but it is still going to be an improvement. i’ve noticed it sounds much better on lossless than it does on the normal sound setting on my 1st gen airpods pro.

Yh that why they removed the headphone jack, classic apple. Just but the new $200 adapter to hear lossless sound 😅.

Edit: thank you all for 1k likes 😍

You absolutely can transmit lossless. It just means they don’t lossily compress it. You just need a good pair of headphones

coming from an audiophile, it still has a noticeable difference

The best thing about Apple Music is the DOLBY ATMOS SPATIAL AUDIO

I’m glad someone is actually bringing attention to this. WIRED earphones half the price as AirPods blow AirPods out of the water.

Fun fact, not sure if this is on Spotify but in the song “Clint Eastwood” by Gorillaz there’s a part where someone says “but it’s all in your head” and depending on if you have mono or dual channel audio you’ll either hear it or not, making it feel like it was really all in your head.

Some people still use wired headphones! And the important thing is that almost zero medium range wireless in ear headphones you would be able to tell the difference. Unless you’re spending minimum 250 and listening to acoustic or live performed genres (especially jazz and classical) you don’t need lossless. I can tell the difference myself but only on my home setup

Actually, bluetooth supports the lossles refresh rate and overall quality, what it doesn’t support is high ress losless, not counting the cheapest devices but all bluetooth devices support up to 90khz on audio quality, wich is lossles, however they dont support more unless its a specialized device wich are really expensive, so unless you have a 10 year old bluetooth or a really cheap/bad quality you can hear lossles, not hi res losses, wich is what every article refers to, the highest resolution posible not the next in line
