NASA’s on a Journey to Mars but it won’t happen overnight.

NASA’s path for the human exploration of Mars begins in low-Earth orbit aboard the International Space Station, then onto deep space with the asteroid redirect mission and finally on to the Mars system.

Watch as Robert Cabana, Center Director of NASA's Kennedy Space Center, addresses the attendees at the AIAA Propulsion Energy conference in July 2015.

Honestly i think its appalling that you people have spent so much muny and completely ignored the sound pruven designed and blueprinted  method to crew a human flight to ANY POINT in the solar system in that it could make pluto and back inside a year.... Sadly its been buried and covered up in that it uses an unconventional fuel but the up side is it is truly scalable and could be built big enough to fit an entire engineering department including all the machinery to produce not just a livable sustainable environment for a crew of several thousand if you wanted but to make more ships!!! Guess what it was called the ORION project which you stole the name of! Courtesy of the scientist of the MANHATTAN project as a way of redeeming themselves. you know what they did with it??? Made you soda can dispensing machine.
