I Found a Parakeet in the Trash

Hello Buddies,
This is despicable.
Whoever left it could've just given it away if it didn't want to raise it for whatever reason I didn't think of.
Just imagine if no one would have found it, it wouldn't be alive right now.
It was found in an industrial area by a person that knows me, when I got there I've noticed a very bad chemical smell and lots of cats walking around it...It was only a matter of hours from being dead by a cat or by starving.
As much as I would like to stay positive, these things happen too often and it's so sad to think that some pets don't make it.

There's no excuse for throwing away any pet like garbage. If the owner can't find them a new home, they can always be taken to the local animal shelter, or the SPCA.

As someone who loves parrots beyond belief, this was painful to hear. I'd probably lose control if I saw such a thing happen, but nonetheless, you are a legend for rescuing this ringneck :D

How could someone ever do this to a poor bird :( it’s a beautiful bird and I’m glad that someone found it. If that bird was in there for a longer time I probably wouldn’t have been able to survive or it would be in a horrible condition . I’m so happy u took this bird home and gave it the are it needed and u gave it some treatment :)
