First Contact | A Half-Life Cinematic [S2FM]

The world as we know it has come to an end. Portal storms have raged the globe for days, and a new extraterrestrial empire has begun a large scale invasion of Earth. It seems as if all hope is lost, however, many brave souls from around the globes nations will do everything they are capable of to defend their planet when they make first contact.

So I have been working on this project for quite a while now, and I am really pleased to finally be able to share my work with you all. With the release of this film I also re-branded my YouTube channel, as my previous name and brand didn't really fit to my likings. Hopefully this will not confuse a lot of people, but my content will remain the same. Reminder that the Combine that we fought in Half Life 2 isn't the Combine who invaded Earth, we may not know there are more Synths and Infantry the Combine can send in if the resistance didn't close the portal.

This was cool to watch because it something most people do and that's Air combat for half life yeah sure they might have some air combat there and there but its not full on
also fun fact about striders and drop ships they are living breathing animals this also include gunships they seem to also be under water ones and how the strider uses its gun to look around seen in half life alxy and in its idle animation

This is a very nice take on how a part of the 7 Hour War looked in the moment! I especially love how it related to aircraft fights and shows how it could've played out in the air within combatitive territories. Good work

I like to think that the "hangar bay" of the combine transport ship was actually full of portals which, after being hit, caused an explosion similiar to the one we've seen with the citadel.
If not, some advisor accidentally pressed the self destruct button.
