You have to put the battery back in 5 times for it to reset to factory, if you do it 5 times the Sound will chance and it will be reset. Just a heads up :)

Make sure you shut your iPhone off and then on first. To open airtag put your 2 thumbs on the silver part and press while you turn counter clockwise. 5 battery inserts resets the airtag if it fails to connect.

At 1:10, when you say "turn off your iPhone", do you mean power it down completely? Or just turn off the screen?

Just took mine apart....Speaker is in teh moddle of teh bottom and not attached to the cap. Pried the speaker out of middle put together and it still works... Thanks for the Tip Lofi

Heped me a lot. When you go to switch off phone, then it connects again. You can also go via Settings> General> Shutdown and the connection screen pops up. (Don't shut down unless it doesn't poop up). Other videos walk you through all the less common stuff first. And yes, initial set up is frustrating and needs its own App.

I Had no issues and actually connecting straight out of the box my problem is actually locating it on my phone my phone does not show that I have AirTags connected how do I fix that after updating and shutting my phone on and off

I watched the video, tried taking my battery out and still had an issue with it and it didnt work. Restarting your device should fix that! It did for me anyway!

Not only is this useless a lot of it is wrong, I would think everyone knows about the IOS and iPhone models - to reset an airtag you have to remove and replace the battery 5 times
the 5th time should be a different chirp if not you have a problem airtag.
