If you learn about volunteering from childhood, you will be able to participate in volunteer activities without hesitation even after becoming an adult. Thank you for these useful videos. I think it can be used for education.

We are a school in Thailand and we get many volunteers. I think volunteering gives you so much. It does not matter where you volunteer because a lot of people and organisation needs your help. It gives you so much happiness and knowledge. Try it out. I think the volunteering in Wales or even at us is a good start. When I was young I thought maybe I could volunteer with a political organization because this was something I was sort of interested in but did not understand fully and maybe it would be mutually beneficial. I may have been too honest about what I thought I might do as I got older but kids have to learn about life somehow. I do not regret being a volunteer but I wonder what people might think of my situation. The organization decided what they thought I was suited for and decided they would let me manage a small business instead of what I thought might interest me. They used Government money to hire and pay employees who worked one or two days a week but since I volunteered they made me the supervisor of the employees but without pay. I got the feeling after a time that I was being mistreated somehow and after my term volunteering was up I simply have never spoken with them again. I don't feel I benefited in any way from volunteering and maybe I was hurt. But being hurt is a part of life. As to the organization, the Government was subsidizing them so did they really need my help? I will mention in closing that a small business used to sponsor a sporting event every year in a community near me. They basically gave away free tickets to the sporting tournament to kids and all. Of course I paid my own way and enjoyed attending the events and having a premium seat... but when the company closed its doors the event eventually left town and moved to another community where there may have been local businesses willing to sponsor and support the event. No algorithm can replace real concern for a community and it's people. People want to be an individual and not a number.
