In this more in-depth setup tutorial, we’ll not only walk you through assembling and adjusting your Haven Hammock Stand, but also show you how to use the included tarp poles an other lines to properly position and secure your rainfly. Our lay-flat hammock design doesn’t align with standard hammock stands, but with YOBOgear’s patent-pending innovation, you get full mobility and ultimate comfort outdoors.

Setup Steps:

1. Assemble the Stand: Raise the two plastic hub pieces so the shock-corded poles snap into place. Connect all leg segments and the ridgepole.
2. Attach Tree Straps: Loop the straps around the stand’s hooks, preparing a stable anchor point for your Haven Tent.
3. Hang Your Hammock: Hang the Haven Tent as usual, keeping a slightly lower hang angle to reduce tension on the ridgepole. Don’t pull the hammock too tight!
4. Pitch the Rainfly: Use the included tarp poles to properly align and secure the rainfly for maximum coverage and weather protection.
5. Stabilize the Stand: Before getting in, push the two inward-facing legs toward the hammock to lower the third stabilizing leg, minimizing wobble. Even if there’s a bit of movement, the stand is plenty strong!
6. Relax and Enjoy: You’re all set! Now, with the Haven Hammock Stand, you can take your hammock experience to new places—comfortably and conveniently.

One of my most favorite nights in my life was hanging over the edge of Lake Ouachita with my dog in my Haven setup. These are wonderful hammocks. Excited to add this stand to my stash.

Okay, it took me a minute to figure out the tarp poles. The poles that are included are special to the Haven rainfly and are included. The Tarp Extension Poles ($70 out of stock), which are listed by Yobo as an additional accessory is in fact the poles that go on top of the stand for attaching a standard tarp or rainfly above the stand.
I inquired to customer service about it and was referred back to the video.
Hope this saves any confusion by anybody else looking at the differences between the Haven Stand and the Yobogear Stand.
I ordered my Hacen stand this morning. Cant wait to try it out!
