"These are sunflowers. They're called that because they always face towards the sun. That's how I want to be like. Someone who always sees the bright side of things."

This sounds like when you leave school on the last day a little later than everyone else, though it’s never happened to me. I can just imagine how empty and silent the campus would be

This theme reminds me of Basil. Gentle and carefree, but there are some sad undertones at the end conveying a sense of loss.

This is the only game I've ever played where I feel like if I stop holding on to it for even a second, it'll disappear.

This song really does what it needs to do. It feels nostalgic in such a lonely way which is perfect when coming back to check up on basil’s empty, deteriorating house to water his flowers. A place where happy memories used to be but not anymore...

Bless omocat for this banger of a game. I’ve never seen 7 years be used so beautiful to create a well polished and FINISHED game.

This song makes me feel like I'm a kid again, just existing without the stresses of reality

I had to kill like 30 rabbits and all I got was a lousy charm

If you’re reading this like 10 years after this game came out, and yes that does sound like a long time, it will get better. Even if life is hard right now, if you can just persist to look back to all the progress you have made, that will be enough

This track in particular makes me so nostalgic. I miss the time when I didn't know what this game was about :(

I love the empty promise that this music represents
You start the game and it all cheery and cute, you get invested in this little fantasy
Then you discover the reasons for this world, what it represents
And you just feel empty
You desperately want it to be cute and fun again but its too late
You changed, now you cant see the magic anymore

Hearing this song during 1st playthrough: "This is so calming, can't wait to have a chill walk through the forest with my friends..."

Hearing this song during 2nd playthrough: "...but at what cost?"

Okay, for me it fits Minecraft's atmosphere. You Explore the world you've built so far, it's so calm, yet somehow melanchonic.

This song is so iconic because it's one of the first, and last, songs you'll hear in headspace.

In the beginning, it's a wonderful calming melody. You feel at peace in the forest. You think everything will be okay.

Then you find out the horrible truth of headspace. As you walk to Basil's house, you cross through the now ruined forest, one more time. And the same music plays. The very last remnant of Omori's happy headspace.

Of all the things that happened in Omori up to that point, hearing this song again broke me.
