I am 67 years old and have owned a total of 30 motorcycles, all makes and models. My 2009 Hayabusa was one of the most memorable.

Chris Northover is by far the best motorcycle journalist and tester. He knows how to give you the actual information you need to know about the bikes without declaiming the manufacturer's same stuff as other motorcycle journalists do. Also, he is funny and charismatic just a joy to watch his reviews.

5:20 that braking is phenomenal. And the giggles at the end! Just had to watch that again a few times

Just love Chris's reviews, even when they are on bikes that really don't fit my interest. His genuine enthusiasm for all things motorcycling just draws you in to whatever it is he is talking about. Great work Chris, the other journos can't touch you!

Top comment in that it makes 110mph feel like 50mph. I bought my first Busa in 2001 and thats exactly the reaction I had then. I couldn't believe how fast I was actually going. Fortunately, I also couldn't believe how fast the brakes stopped the bike, otherwise I would have definitely been in the bushes on the first ride. Good to hear it still has that same impact.

I'm over 50. I bought a 2004 last year after 10 years of not riding and I'm loving it.

Great review and totally on point. I have a 2013 'Busa after having owned several sport bikes. It gives you the thrill of speed like a sport bike, but it's larger and more comfortable. When I ride with my small group, we typically do 400-500 mile days, which is no problem. It corners MUCH better than people think, especially with some sticky Dunlop Sport Max tires. If wind buffeting (and the law) weren't a concern, you really could ride this bike at 120-140 mph all day long. I've owned quite a handful of bikes in my life, but the 'Busa is by far my favorite. It does everything well.

I've watched many Busa revues, thats the best summary yet, thankyou.

Yes! Been waiting for this!

Edit: Great review as always, I don't think I'm in the target demo for the big busa but you have to respect Suzuki for keeping the bike alive. It's certainly filling a new position of the biking world than it's predecessor but I think it's settled in quite nicely and it's great to see it get a proper update after all this time.

This lad is my favourite reviewer on bikes, he’s an animal.

Just acknowledging that 170+ to a near stop before you hit the grass! 😂 👌 Epic.

Thing other reviewers don't seem to get is that we want to know what it FEELS like to ride the bike. Not go over the spec sheet. Brilliant review, felt like a mini-movie!

Looks like perfect blend of “old good” mechanical power with nowadays electronics and new design. Cheers!
