Adding wireless charging to my mouse and keyboard

I've used off-the-shelf wireless charging kit to add wireless charging to my Logitech MX Master 2S mouse and Lenovo keyboard. It's easy, fun and also very convenient.

You should have routed that could around entire mouse perimeter because the bigger the coil diameter the more effective it is

Hey do you know if this qi wireless works on AA battery powered mouses? Will the qi wireless charge my eneloop battery inside my Orochi V2? Or do I have to solder on some lithium battery for this to work? If I need to solder lithum battery, can you link me the highest watt battery I can use from aliexpress etc? Can I just buy a Logitech Mx master battery replacement and solder onto the Orochi V2? I don't care about mouse weight, I just want a highest watt battery so I can charge less. Thanks!!

I have an ROG Chakram X Origin
It looks like it has the same enclosure as the ROG Chakram X which has wireless charging
The enclosure even has a sticker called wireless charging area
Got confused by it and bought an expensive mousepad with wireless charging just to find out the model difference
Will try to get a guy that works with batteries to give it a try diy ing this
Any way to reach out if we need to ask any question?

Hello! First off, amazing tutorial. I opened up my mouse and I can't seem to find where to solder the points to the pcb. It's the Fantech Helios Go XD5. I do see two points on top of the usb c and it says R31 and R31. Could that possibly be it?

Can you tell me if it is possible to do this on the surface of a table in the size of 30cm x 25cm? Then, if I put a keyboard or mouse with that adapter you made, it would always charge if it was inside that 30x25 surface. If possible, how could it be done? I ask because I've never seen a very large wireless charge base.

Though I'm trying to figure out : do you think it is possible to put several TX coils together (in chain ?) to try and reproduce a full surface inductive mouse pad ? And I'm talking about an XXL mousepad, not the tiny little pads you can buy for 100 bucks from notorious companies :p

Could you elaborate a bit on how to tell where to tap the wireless charger leads onto the mouse PCB? My mouse has a micro USB port too, I'm just not sure where exactly I need to solder the + and - to from the wireless charger.

Just anywhere I'm getting 5v as close as possible to the USB port, or.. ?
