Tesla FSD Beta V10.1 - Initial Impressions! This might be the 'button-version'.

My initial impressions on the just released FSD Beta 10.1. According to Elon Musk, this could be the version that additional testers that applied via "The Button" will get in some time. I'll share my thoughts and initial impressions in this video.
This is obviously a very early indication, more drives under more scenarios will be coming up.

It looks great in my opinion, as you said there was no trafffic with easy scenario, however it has definitely got the fundamental core technology to navigate the vehicle on both local roads and highway. It only matters of time to refine this to near perfection. Thank you for the video.

Thanks for posting. FSD beta download is NOT available to EVERYONE. It is only available to those who have PURCHASED FSD.

Thank you for posting. Many people don't get how unstructured our roads are in the Northeast. That's why your videos are particularly relevant to me, especially the parts where you're still in town. I often joke that they just paved where George Washington's horses walked. That's why our local roads are so poorly laid out and disorganized.

Thank you for the disclaimer in the beginning. Way to many people are blaming Tesla for giving the impression that the car drives itself and worry about safety.

7:30, it seems to have left the high-beams on when not needed and possibly dazzling oncoming traffic, so that still needs some work it seems. Although at least it turned them off when the black truck passed you.

reverse or drive - as a beta tester you can overide by just using stalk indicator to release autopilot and ensure u are in drive.

It's too early to say as I've only watched a few videos but it seems more stable than before. Many of the testers are saying it hasn't changed much because they are looking for more features.
I think the important focus is on WHAT IT ISN'T DOING rather than what it is. My initial impression is that it seems to be making less mistakes, but too early to say. Not making potentially dangerous mistakes is more important than added features.

Thanks for the testing and video coverage. If I'm being honest, I think I'd be more compelled to stick around and watch more if you had better in cabin audio. Right now far too much road/BG noise competing with you talking. Maybe a lapel/lav mic clipped to your shirt would work well.

Hasn´t Elon said that with v10.1 (button version) the new overlay or V11 will be released?

Since they won't be expanding Beta access to any button requesters for at least a week (or who knows how long), I'd have to think there's a good chance the Beta expansion will occur with the roll out of a new update (10.2 or higher) since 10.1 is already out.

Leaves haven't started to turn yet in Connecticut? FSD V10.1 acquits itself well, but was not very challenged...very light traffic. Need to try high speed, high density merges...will stay tuned!
