Many artists and musicians also develop careers as educators. But being an artist-educator is challenging, both in terms of maintaining a dual identity and also just because of how much time and headspace is required to be a dual-professional.

Nobody knows this pressure better than Tony Castro, a composer and musician who has also been a Programme Leader and Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning at London's prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

In this event, Phil and Tony from Ding (themselves artist-educators) talk with Tony about the pros and cons of being an artist-educator, and how to maintain a healthy balance.
