I bought a cyrusher 500w 48v fat tyre ebike to commute to work and back.. it was fun especially in the summer, only problem was the batteries lasted less than a year 😭 I think the speed limit is 15/20mph here in wales but people just import them... Great video as always 👍🏾

Why in hell you name the video "know before you buy" if in fact this is just velotrik advertisement?

Great video, very informative. I purchased the Velotric Discover 1, and after I got some kinks worked out with the assembly (was definitely not as easy as I thought so I took it to a REI and all good now), all is good and I am loving it. I use it to commute and get around DC. On weekends I have been exploring local trails. Excellent price too for what you get and the quality. 👍👍

Thanks for posting such a nice video coverage about the E. Bikes variations, it's technical features, functioning skills, mileage etc.

I often think there's a understanding difference between those in the us and those here in the UK .
Not a level of intelligence, just a slight barrier of understanding.
David this guy ( unlockr) would fit in nicely in the UK .
He communicates very well his humor is on pint and he's very smart. .top work

To answer your question about accerelation metrics: because you are talking about metrics for motors here. While that metric is entirely dependent on the bike itself (which gear-ratio is used, radius of the wheel, grip of the wheel, weight of bike and rider and stuff, AND the motor rpm. And possibly even a bit of the motors torque, if it is too weak to ensure always having the same rpm).

I think the main reason why bikes wouldn't have such a metric, is because they are way lighter than cars. And so the metric would differ far too much depending on who is on it and what they have in the basket. And even if we assume the metric is only for riderless empty bikes, each bike will have such different weights that the profile beyond that looks entirely different.

Loving the photography and light on the show. The ebike information was really interesting. Appreciate your work on the ebikes. Really important real world experience. Thanks 👍 devastating to hear about your experience with the insurance company not paying out for the theft. It is outrageous. Bike theives are horrible.

Yay! I’ve been hoping you might do a review of e-bikes! And this is an excuse one!

I'm just looking to buy a MTB, but i wanted to see what's going on here to see what are the _"E"_ options. Regarding the acceleration, because the weight defines a huge factor, having 0 to 20 mph would related to the weight of the person and that's why is hard to say a precise acceleration.
I like the Nomad 1 a lot, but not sure if i van get here (can you bring it? Lol).
Have you ever thought about doing a compilation of background noises? That might be an interesting video lol.
Great video man, really enjoyed my digital friend.
Happy Thanksgiving

Sorry to hear about the issue with your insurance coverage on your stolen bike. UGH! What about an inconspicuous GPS tracker for theft concerns?

Sir, a clarification please. NY law states less than 750W right? so NY'ers only choice are the 500W e-bikes if riden without license else they have to get a moped classification e-bike. thank you!
