Am dritten Tag der SolidWorks World 2016 wurden die Neuerungen der Version 2017 verkündet – diesmal war Star Wars der filmische Background der Präsentation in Dallas am 3. Februar 2016 in der General Session. Eine Auswahl der Neuerungen:

ADVANCED HOLE WIZARD: New Functionality to create multi-step holes
SMARTER MATE PLACEMENT: Components move closer to their intended location

MAGNETIC MATE ASSET PUBLISHER: Fast setup for magnetic mates
