In linux or Mac based system environment the path always end with % that's why it's showing the % symbol .
The solution is put \n after hello world or print using System.out.println("Hello World");. so that the program flow goes to new line.

$, #, % symbols indicate the user account type you are logged in to.

Dollar sign ($) means you are a normal user.
hash (#) means you are the system administrator (root).
In the C shell, the prompt ends with a percentage sign (%).

Sir here is a weird ques that I have.
What if jvm is made to know machine lang of every platform so that we dont need to have diff JVMs for diff platforms. Then JVM will also become platform independent.
