Ring Nebula via Photonis INTENS Night Vision in Real Time

This shows the Ring Nebula aka M57 in the constellation Lyra. The central star barely shows while popping in and out. Shot using a Photonis INTENS image tube with P22 (deep green) phosphor plugged into a Takahashi Mewlon 250 telescope @ f12 giving about 120X magnification. The camera is a Sony A7S. Shot from Mount Pinos, Calif with temps in the low 40's (F).
