I honestly hate every single person who says no to manufacturing and says services is our only way out.
In a country with 1.4 billion people, it honestly can be both. We have the liberty of choosing both then why not !
The push towards manufacturing should happen and needs to keep happening.

How much employment will be created in service sector? it's already saturated in india. India needs massive Make in India Manufacturing Push so more employment will create. In service sector we will always depend on Western market, Current government working on Both service as well as Manufacturing sector very well, that's why in Recession time we are manage to get more than 7 gpd growth rate, If interested rate comes down, we can easily achieve more than 2% additional growth

We can't rely on just service sector. To become a service sector hub we need to go through manufacturing, we need to produce something we need to develop our science and technology then only the world will believe on our analyst our R&D companies and other services sector

To become a develop nation we need to go through some steps 1st produce raw material, 2nd manufacture something from that raw material, 3rd develop technology by research and development, 4th become a service provider then you will become a develop nation

At a 10, 000 dollar per capita income Indians would have a very high standard of living because of our purchasing power. And we should get there by next 20 years and that would be good enough, we need not be the largest economy we can be the 3rd largest with people being fairly happy and healthy.
