replace quiet to nomodeset xforcevesa

mkdir /mnt/sda
mount /dev/block/sda1 /mnt/sda

press i to enter write mode
press esc to enter read mode
press :wq to save and quit
type reboot

I'm a little lost here, once I got to the kernel after pressing e twice, I was brought to the screen you were but I could not bring up that text by clicking the left arrow. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

wq is giving me error, its says 'q' is not implemented

mine remains black screen after I select auto install. After it freezes it goes back to advanced options, I select auto install again & the loop continues.

it doesnt give me homescreen after it boots when i set it up for the first time instead i can only get the drop down menu where wifi, bluetooth is shown and home button at the bottom but other than that nothing else .
