I think the difference is that being an “e-celebrity” was not nearly as high of a status back then as it now because the concept was so new. When Ken and Felix met their wives, even big YouTubers were seen more as regular people than actual celebrities.

That being said, Colleen’s problem is that she sent extremely inappropriate messages to *kids, * not just fans

colleen even texted trisha about the allegations, and even admitted to sharing her explicit photos with underaged fans. her excuse to trisha was that the fans were the ones that sent colleen trisha's explicit content. But inevitably, the fans came out with the reciepts, showing colleen sending those photos/videos out of context or randomly in the chats

Ken's so jittery about how he met Mary, when technically, TECHNICALLY, Felix met Marzia the same way. Through the content.
And I don't think he has to feel nervous about it because it's understood that 1) Mary wasn't underage, and 2) Ken had no awful intentions. And look where they are now.

The issue with Colleen here is that she WAS talking to kids and from what I understand (I don't know the full issue tbh) she had such a poor filter that she ended up saying very inappropriate things to them.

Seeing this video of pews willingly say whatever about another YouTuber feels like a breath of fresh air for some reason, it’s dope to see him not be scared to get canceled or say something wrong (obviously he didn’t really say anything bad) it’s just nice to see him talk normal and be himself with no restrictions since he’s retired

Well, the difference is Mary being an ADULT and close to your age, Ken. Not 15 years younger or a child, which is why those Youtubers get canceled over that.
