How Would You Play This Hole?

I'd top the tee shot into the tall grass right in front of me and search for about 30 minutes because I can't handle losing the Srixon ball I found two holes ago ago. I give up and play #3 from the tee. Not wanting a repeat of my last shot, I really try to get under the ball and launch it at a 60° angle into the sky, multiplying my driver's loft by an impressive 15x. The resulting s̶l̶i̶c̶e̶ power fade pushes 150 yards right and I once again find myself in the tall stuff. I take a penalty-free drop on the first cut of rough because this is about where it went and when I'm on tour there will be a gallery to help me find my ball. In only 4 more strokes I find myself on the green with a 20 foot putt. I launch it six feet past the hole. I give it a lazy one-handed putt without much thought that stays high but count it anyway because I obviously would have made it if I really tried. I have my playing partner put me down for a 5 and fall to -1 for the round. This game is easy.

That's a great recovery and up and down. 500+ yrd par 4 ??, Driver is about 260, 240 left I would lay up with a 7 iron to 100 yrds, 75 % pitching wedge to the middle of the green then take a 2 putt for a bogie and be on my marry way.

Great up and down there... But I always play a par 5 for par in my mind and if I end up Birdie or better witch is normally the case is just a bonus! I always try to trick my brain like that... Little stuff!

First shot looked about normal. Then I would take 3-4 swings out of long grass until it finally goes into that fairway bunker. I would also count that as one stroke. Then 2-3 more shots to get it close to the green. Putt it from the rough. Then 2-3 more putts for a solid 8-9 that’s really a 12-13. I then feel bad about lying to myself.

The difficulty of the second shot is ridiculous lord willing I’d hit the fairway cause if not from that lie I’m breaking my arms lol 😂

I would top the first ball and have to take a shot. Second ball would be in the bunker. The next three balls are trying to get out of the bunker. I finally get it 2 feet out of the bunker then somehow send it 20 yards over the green. I would lilely lob it back to the green and three putt it for a "par". Easy day at the course. 😉

I’m a huge slicer and get away with it because I’ve stopped trying to fix it! So I would aim over the buggy on the left and it should be fine. 👍🏻

I'd play it almost like you did. 1st ball in the weeds, it's lost. If be hitting for 3 from the fairway after the drop. I'm looking at a 7 by the time it's over.

Thats how I golf. Im a good golfer sometimes but im all over. Im a scrambler. I will end up with par a lot but its not pretty.
