Couple things I suggest you try for better audio. Move that soundbar forward so the front is on the edge of your chest. Being so far back your chest is a point of first reflections on the sound and is affecting clarity. You will be surprised how much a difference it makes. Another is experiment with subwoofer placement. Moving it to the corner should cause re-enforcements making the low frequencies stronger but may also become boomy sounding. Just placing a subwoofer down is often not the best place. It costs nothing to move it around to find that spot and that looks to be a pretty light box.

Loved the tour man! Really incredible setup and I liked how vivid the picture quality of the projector in Daytime, there’s definitely a different taste to watching films in home theater!

Fantastic … I have used a projector since 2008 … I can’t imagine using anything else …. an easy tweak is to darken the first 3 to 4 feet of your ceiling closest to the screen … either with fabric or paint … enjoy :)

Really nice setup, Nathan. Wish I had that kind of space to spare for just the home cinema experience.
I use to have a motorized screen but when wanted to upgrade to a better setup I chose a grey"tinted" screen instead.
I really need to upgrade my projector though as it is almost 10 years by now.

I am glad you enjoy the space man, that is all we can ask for, right? Careful in describing that projector as 4k though, it is 1080p that pixel shifts which is quite different. If you are more of an audio person maybe throw up a few acoustic panels, looks like you love your baby as we all do on our projects, lots of love man :)

Man that’s awesome. I set up a home theater type room this year and it’s been awesome. I’ve always wanted a projector and it felt great to finally get one. How often do you use this room? I try to balance with mine and watch lots on my OLED too so it makes the projector feel “special” if that makes sense. I don’t want to get used to the projector size…it feels like an event otherwise when I watch in that room.
