I really appreciate Paul’s take on reissues being valid and often better than many originals. Very unpretentious perspective.

The fact you showed his non-Gibson collection too, that makes me respect you even more as a company, great interview

It's refreshing hearing Paul not engulfed in business and drama. Watching him just geek out about guitars like the rest of us is why we love this channel.

I love how Paul Stanley doesn't overglorify vintage instruments and acknowledges that not all of them were perfect and many of them had flaws

I met the band, starting with Paul, during the Kiss Alive 3 tour/promotion campaigns. They were sitting in the sun behind a mall outside of Buffalo, NY when the cd came out. I had just broken my back and was in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the waist down at 17 years old. I get there, the line wraps around the mall almost 3 times! I see that and I knew in my condition that I couldn't sit in the sun that long so I decided to leave.

One of the guys that worked for the band saw me leaving and asked if I'd gotten my stuff signed. I told him what happened. He said "c'mon with me" and took me right to the front of the line. This was just before they were starting to sign. So, Paul was at the right-hand of the table, in the 1st position to where the line was and i go to him, grab the pile of stuff i had and right away the security guard behind him pushes the stuff back my way and says "pick ONE thing!!" Paul, grabs his arm and says "leave him alone, it's ok!" and signs EVERYTHING in his perfect signature and spoke with me a little abt why I was in the chair. Then he pushed everything to Gene who also signed everything. The other 2 guys only signed the new cd bc everything else was from the 70s.

Paul and that original security guy treated me like Kiss Family. I may have lost insterest in the band bc of Gene's neverending greed but Paul will always be remembered by me for that day.

The Cracked Mirror guitar is so nostalgic for me. It’s gorgeous and iconic. As a little kid, I was blown away by it and watching Paul playing it. Great video!

I’m not a Kiss fan but respect their legacy. Paul is an AMAZING guy and this is one of the best interviews Mark has done.

If we don't get a "The Collection: Jimmy Page" while he's still with us I will be extremely disappointed. After Slash he's the only other Gibson artist I really want to see

I know it's an insanely long shot but Angus Young NEEDS an episode. His SG collection must be absolutely ridiculous, and to see him talk about his fabled first SG and other well known guitars of his would be incredible. I'd love to see what he has kicking around aside from SG's too.

Kiss represents so much to me, is the band my father showed me when I was a kid, he passed away when I was 5. Watching this video reminds me how important a music instrument can become to a person, how many stories it can bring. Paul Stanley such a gentleman and a rockstar. Respect. Cheers from Ecuador.

I love how Paul gets excited talking guitars; especially in such a down-to-earth, unpretentious way. Even after all these years the love of his instrument hasn't faded. The best interview, so far.

Childhood friend of mine was a Kiss fanatic, Paul was his hero. He was lucky enough to meet him by chance in a hotel bar back the 90s. Said that Paul was very polite and unpretentious. Good to hear about a fan encountering his hero and having it be a positive experience.

What makes this interview special is we hardly ever see or hear Paul talk about guitars. Very very cool and thank you for making this happened

I’ve meet Paul backstage in Boston twice and he is as great of a person as you could ever imagine. At that time I was 51 and my first KISS show was when I was 15 at the orpheum theater in Boston. I showed him my ticket stub with the $8.50 price on it, he was blown away and so grateful for me as a fan.

Everyone in the band was awesome!! We will miss you KISS!

First live show, Kiss Alive 2, at the LA Forum. 1977. Cheap Trick opened. Alive 1, Destroyer, Love Gun, Rock and Rollover…
They made Rock fun.
Great job Mark. You asked questions we all wanted to ask.
Hour and a half a half was too short. Paul… thank you for all your hard work to entertain all these years. You are a class act.
