Paul Stanley is firmly on board with Pride celebrations -- which might shock critics of his comments about gender identity and kids -- but he says all folks should be free to embrace who they are ... with one caveat.

I've never seen a more dignified and polite annoyed person in my life. He's like a high-school teacher dealing with the delinquents at detention. 😂😂😂

Good for him, he gave all the right answers for an ambush interview.

Being a good person no matter what your gender or beliefs. Good for him.

She was really trying to steer him into her narrative wasn't she? Glad he didn't fall for it.

Amazing how this dude is a rockstar, but one of the most soft spoken well mannered dudes out there

Leave. Paul. Alone…greatest frontman of all time. He’s been an advocate for equal rights for years.

That was pretty disrespectful from the journalist, she and TMZ should be ashamed of themselves ambushing Paul

He was to the point. The reporter made me nauseated. Poor guy hadn’t even had his morning coffee yet.

Paul is a classy guy. This woman is extremely annoying and he still a nice guy .

This is why I have never followed or respected TMZ.... she followed him right to his driver's seat for gods sake. Paul is a stand up professional.... humble and filled with wisdom.

Why is she so hell bent on chasing anyone down to goad them into commenting about pride? Mind your own business lady!

Well, before that there is one very important thing to say: Wow how well Paul is doing! 71 years old, the guy looks great. God blesses.

I would want to shake his hand and thank him for his amazing artistry. Then leave the poor guy alone to have his coffee and get on with his day. He’s got to be one of the most well spoken musicians I’ve seen.

It is enough to see that Paul is nervous about the interview and does not feel comfortable. I appreciate and admire him for answering so patiently and politely.

Paul is one bright dude. My favorite rock star.

This is what is wrong with the world right now. Asking a question about something that is in context of an interview is great. Ambushing someone with controversial topics hoping for a clickbait headline is pathetic.

Shame on the tmz people for ambushing him . Good thing he held his own despite this

Translation: "Pride is absolutely ridiculous, we're good as long as you leave everyone else alone."

Is this a TMZ journalist? This interaction was fucking bizarre and awkward.

What he said was pretty cut and dry initially... and was just common sense. He doesn't need to elaborate on it.
