I find it easier if you have the bar backwards and just roll your hand off the bar after you strike a note. Always struggled doing it the regular way because I play with the bar loose

I have a 7 string with 3 springs in it. It’s pretty stuff though I can’t imagine using only 2 springs. Stability would be all over the place

I have 11s on my strandberg and she flutters, but its very limited. Im switching to 8.5s today with light springs to see if i can get more flutts

I just got my first Floyd Rose guitar, an EC-1000... is it normal for the whammy bar to dangle once I let go? I can't do the flutter like you do because once I'm not holding onto it, it immediately drops straight down to the 6 o'clock position.

Too bad I installed the trem stabilizer he reccommended and said he put on all his guitars. No boing-oing-oing possible when you use one.

It sounds broken. Ive been using fixed bridges only since the 90’s when i had a bad gig due to an out of tune floyd. I’m never going back to the dark side
