I made double knit earflaps for a hat but I wanted to transition to single layer for the body of hat and couldn’t figure out how to do it without back color coming to front where I attached the ear flaps. Suzanne, you are a life-saver! I just started my first double knitting + stranded knitting project (done stranded before, just not WITH double knitting), and I really thought I had to have a ball for each color on each side - I was trying to hold FOUR strands of yarn! Thank you for showing me that it's much simpler than that. Great video.

Thank you for this video. I have never done double knitting. I found a beautiful blanket pattern but it is WAY to scary for a first project. I think I will try something like a potholder first. Your lighting is great! Very easy to see the video. 👍🏼
