The battery dies on my PS5 controller too fast, and in my last video many of you champions suggested I try these ideas. I get a couple more hours than I was now, so I wanted to share them in a video. Thanks to those who helped!

Never compromising vibration and all that. Speakers and microphones yes I can live with that. But I love tactile feedback.

The controller speaker isn't useless 😂 some games most definitely use it for dialogue.

These are great tips but I think the real solution is to just have at least two controllers and swap them as needed while always charging another and this is for those really long play sessions. Some games utilize a lot of the settings that save battery when turned off only to lose a lot of the immersion. Best to just take the sacrifice and get another controller.

I do get that this works as it should since the controller has to do less work but for some games playing with those settings on really do make it feel next gen. Without the settings on you may as well be on a ps4

Some info for ya here. Sony says 8-10 hours on their controllers, the 8 is with standerd and 10 is with these options shut off. Sony states that on their site. And i can see why youd turn it off, but then again, your turning off the features that make the dual sense, well, the dual sense. So whenver i get a battery replacement request, i tell the customer to go to 5 below, walmart ot amazon and by the connectable battery pack, theres adhesive pads on the pack so ehen u okug it into ur controller, it does. Come loose, you can play with it plugged in still, and it doesnt impede charging it with the playstation 5 offical charging doc and most thrid party docks ive tested. It gets u an extra 4-6 hrs of battery life on most packs.

The Xbox controller is much simpler that’s why you can play longer with it even with good AA Battery’s 😅!

The controllers don’t need these things what PS5 Controllers have ! It’s cool but not when you can’t play so long without cable
