DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden says he is working to help inmates in the county jail change their life for good. Sheriff Welden is allowing inmates who want to attend church services to go under supervision. News 19 has a look at how the sheriff says this is making a big difference in people not becoming repeat offenders.

He's a joke his deputies on 1st shift do what ever they want to and don't give a crap bout our rights or repeat offenders if he or anyone else in our county would actually try to help people get clean and jobs instead of color code which is a joke its just for making them money they know everyone still passing test with baking soda if u get one charge they give u year color code waiting for trial then more color code after trial which the whole time u pay for color color, plus monitoring fee plus pay for all the classes u have to do during the week and if u miss something uts not that big of deal as long as u all paid up dekalb county 1st shift weak bullies who look and make up charges 2nd shift good dudes and Carl white is 2time felon from teenage years for drugs offense but still runs loose as a cop with a gun who will tell u his self he was ameth addict back when it was strong stuff and now he a cop who's not right in head I got videos of my arrest were I was doin nothing wrong just picking up friend to go work. And had no wrights at the broke so many of them guess that why they threw both my cases out with out even getting a court date
