Dengue fever on the rise in Florida: Ways to protect yourself from mosquito-borne illness

Good report, mosquito lotion is a hassle but it works. The mosquitos carry disease and breed rapidly in standing water.

Where exactly is Pasco county mosquito controll spraying? I've not seen them in my neighborhood since early summer. I think June was the last time they made this route. And most certainly have not come into the Anclote communities since the heightened alert for now three different mosquito born diseases.
We have all been heeding the alerts, but the drivers are not covering everyone and that's a problem.

I caught it in CA. Woke with chills & then sweating, nausea & threw up. Lasted a whole month. Ringing in my ears finally went away. I thought it was a monster flu it was so painful. I had a few itchy bites a few days before & I remember because it was on my face. Happened in my sleep.
Edit: I ordered ivermectin in case someone else here gets it.
