I have found my perpendicular parking experiences to be like yours, where the cars most often needs to do a 3-point turn movement. However, I have found the parallel parking to be MUCH better getting it done in a single try.

Nice vid. My thought is you should try it with cones at the corners of each spot ( three spots back to back to back with 4 cones at the beginning parking line ) to show the clearance of the sides when going into the parking spot. 😎
