Elementary school understanding of physics and/or mathematics, combined with a lack of common sense.

The Dunning-Krüger effect is very strong in that lot.

The first question should be, and worded this way, "Why do you BELIEVE the Earth is flat?" Their reasons will not be based in any facts, just their beliefs. Facts, logic, and wisdom are what matters; not beliefs, thoughts or feelings.

I like the vid but he did make a mistake...I own pretty decent telescope and the "stars and planets" appear more as tesla balls with a nucleus outer field of what looks to be electromagnetic in nature, far from solid spherical surfaces. Anyone with a decent rig would agree.
