As with any decision in life, do what is best for YOU. Society forces so much on us, and it's just simply not true. You do not need to be with a person 24/7 365 days of the year to be in a happy, loving and committed relationship. You do not have to wake up and go to sleep in the same bed, in the same room, in the same house!! The norm equals a 42% divorce rate nationwide. And I say this as someone that is extremely monogamous, and with my partner 24/7, 365 days of the year and it works for us. My favorite time of day is when he is off work (he works from home).
