Sarah Paulson on Love for Holland Taylor: ‘I Want to Shout It from the Rooftops’

It was a big win for Sarah Paulson at last night’s Emmys.

The actress, who was nominated for two awards, took home her first Primetime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Marcia Clark in “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” During her big moment, she didn’t forget to express her love for partner Holland Taylor, who was in NYC for her Broadway play “The Front Page."

Sarah spoke to "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli backstage after the win.

I love her so much and I'm so happy that she is so open about her love for her partner. I wish them nothing but the best! Everyone should be able to love who they love. It's nobody's business but theirs. Imagine that you meet the love of your life and it's mutual and you can't date them, because of what the world thinks. Who cares about what the world thinks? Are they living your life? No. Are they the ones that are there for you when you feel all alone? Probably not, so why bother pleasing judgemental people? They are a waste of our precious time. They will probably judge everything you do, even if you try to please them. Focus on those who love and understand you!
