I've got 600 ancients, and I doubt I have a prayer. I'll never, ever go for one of these, or the champ training version. It's not a level playing field. It's like turning up to a 100m sprint, not knowing if you're going against a 20 stone couch potato or Usain Bolt.

I feel I am only pulling shards last minute, to know how much of a chance I will have of getting Odin, depending on the group I end up. Also because we don't know when the Deck of Fate will pop-up. It could always be on the last day of the 2X and/or Odin

I had a bunch of frag champs from DT, login and recent fusions I didn't complete, so the Thor champ chase was completed just from those. So, my reserves are depleted for bonus points.

I was super lucky and won Odin for only 23k points - 95% of which didn't come from premium shards.

Two things aligned in my favor - my group had no krakens in it, and not really even any notable whales, and I had been sitting on my Mystery shard stockpile for so long that I had 22k of them. I spent a few hours in spurts over the weekend popping greens, and then stayed up late to pop more and psych out my one competitor on the board. I probably could have pulled less, but I wanted that guy to think I would just keep going forever. The odds were still against me, and someone could have come from nowhere to steal the win - but that didn't happen, and I won without paying a dime for shards. Two of my clanmates also won their leaderboards with similar scores, but they had tougher competition than I did and so had to fight tooth and nail.

There is also always a minimum amount of points also. So even if you come in first place you have to have a score above a number they set. So if your low in shards still not possible
