Not the type of tray I'm looking for tips on making but this is perfect. Thanks my guy!

Great idea using the table saw fence for a router guide. I like the little router sled for your trim router.

2 sides at a time...Great tip - I was trying to find a way of avoiding a jig for the full thing. Thanks a bunch

The sled idea to clear the pocket was what I was looking for, thanks. I don’t even own a router! Yet……

Nicely done. Love that the jig you build is easy to manage and has multiple uses

I watched this twice & will watch it again some more. I love this method. You can do this with cutting boards for a juice groove as well. Thx!

That wood looked pretty cool, hope they enjoyed the effort that went into their Christmas present.

Someone needs a dish bit for Christmas.

Nice easy build! I would have probably used a forstner bit to excavate most of the wood in the middle. Just set a depth stop on a drill press, and it shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Then could clean up with a router

I'm going to go make myself a cup of coffee and hit start on the CNC ;) nice job. I know I've commented on this before, but you should be doing voice over work. Am I the only one that thinks so?

Thank you, I was discussing this very thing today with some wood working colleagues, someone suggested taking most of the stock out with a Forster bit and just cleaning it up with a router?

Nicely done, I like the bevel on the bottom a lot. I thought you were going to use your flattening jig on the faces, but I agree the belt sander is much faster.

What type of router bit have you used?

So, the additional gouge on the bowl is unimportant to you?
