That was a very brief, but informative video Skippy. Just the layouts alone are great to see. I will probably start on a wasteland center, 6k map, take in all the improvements they've made to console, maybe a slower play through at first. When cross platform and hopefully future raiders come in the larger maps would be great!

Awesome!!! I can't wait to buy this game, day one buy for me. I already have my $50 Xbox card ready to go. As soon as the game goes live on the Microsoft Store where you're able to purchase it, I'm adding the money to my account and buying it. I normally don't ever buy games when they first come out, but 7 Days To Die is my favorite game ever made. These pre-gen maps look awesome, I didn't think they were going to add that many so I'm super impressed. I thought the maps would be Navezgane and like 2 or 3 pre-gen maps, but when you mentioned that there's going to be a total of 16 maps to choose from, it got me even more excited now. Thanks for the info, Skippy. With that said, I can't freaking wait, only 4 more days to go...whoop whoop! :)

I haven't been in navezgane since alpha 15/16 era. Lot of changes I guess. No desert in the top left, town is way smaller to. Traders moved around, etc. May have to check it out agajn.

i miss the 7 days to die when i had it on the ps4 lol, times have changed when i moved to pc but i still would like to play this on console anyways. i think i spent nearly 1k hrs on console. so much fun. glad everyone in a few days are getting the 1.0 version.

Something about the linear maps I immediately hate. Just dont feel right if that makes sense.

But I think part of my excitement is indeed having such larger maps. Not only for exploration sake, and of course that sweet sweet loot, but after 7 years and 6-7k hours bejng limited to a circular 4k map design, its going to feel like I can stretch my legs out.

I think my biggest curiousity is what all we can actually craft/buy in terms of furniture/objects. I love building, and I really, really want to be able to put all those awesome appliances and whatnot in my base. I Need microwaves and coffee pots, to drink machines and paintings 🤣

Thanks for the heads up on maps. Dont think I want wasteland in the center personally, feels like that ruins the map some if living in nearby biomes. Then again, all my knowledge is basically limited to console unfortunately.

Thanks once again for keeping us updated, Skippy! I'll probabely choose the 10k center forest. To me it's the "nicest" biome, so I'll put a big hordbase in this biome and come back to it every blood moon. The following might be a noob-question, but with clothing gone, how will heat and cold work in their respective biomes? Is there armor for that too or "just" eating and drinking habbits?
